Here is another of my favourite açaí bowl recipes – also featured in my Açaí Bowl Bible.
Make this one in the height of summer when mangos are abundant, sweet, tangy and juicy. Also during this time, make sure to buy mangos in bulk and freeze them when they are perfectly ripe so you can continue to make these all through winter.
- 100 g frozen açaí (or 1 large tbsp of açai powder)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1/2 - 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 tsp lucuma powder
Add all ingredients into a powerful blender and blend until very very smooth. If the blender is struggling to blend, add a tiny bit more liquid.
Pour into a bowl and decorate with your favourite toppings (fruit, seeds, nuts etc.).
